A pair of stars will be in Edmonton in late September for the sixth annual Comic & Entertainment Expo.

Anthony Mackie, who is known as Marvel’s “Sam Wilson/Falcon” in the Captain America movie series, will be appearing at the pop-culture convention for one day. Mackie is also known for appearances in HBO’s All The Way as Martin Luther King Jr. and films The Hurt Locker and Brother to Brother.

The Comic & Entertainment Expo is taking place at the Edmonton Expo Centre Sept. 22 to 24. Mackie will be at the event on Sept. 23.

Organizers have also announced that actress Alex Kingston, who is known for her role as “River Song” in Doctor Who, will be at the event.

Kingston and Mackie will join a list of other stars at the expo, including Gene Simmons and William Shatner.

Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend, where they can participate in fan cosplay, gaming zones, attend on-stage interviews with celebrity guests and hear from industry exports at workshops.

Those in attendance can also shop hundreds of vendors, exhibitors and artists.
