Thieves targeted nuptials in Brant County over the weekend, breaking into 10 parked vehicles and stealing a variety of items from wedding guests.
Bruce County OPP said officers were called at around 7 p.m. to an address along Highway #2, just outside of Paris on Saturday.
Thieves smashed some windows to get to the items inside, while other vehicles had been left unlocked.
Police say thieves stole wallets, tool sets, purses, cameras, alcohol, cigarettes and cash.
The value of the stolen goods hasn’t been determined yet, and police don’t have a damage estimate either.
Officers are asking for the public’s help, and want anyone who saw suspicious people or suspicious vehicles in the area to call them at 1-888-310-1122, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
They’re also reminding the public to keep doors locked, to remove valuable items from inside vehicles, and to park in well-lit areas with high traffic.
