Kelowna celebrates 10 years of Pride

Kelowna’s tenth annual Pride Parade goes Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Federal Liberal MP Randy Boissonnault, special advisor to the prime minister on LGBTQ+ issues has been chosen as grand marshal of the parade.

Marshalling begins at Stuart Park, with the march continuing on to Waterfront Park.

There, performers will play on a main stage while food trucks sell their wares.

Pooches on Parade is an annual crowd pleaser, as owners show their pride by dressing up their dogs.

There will be a beer garden for the adults and a bouncy castle for the kids.

At 2 p.m. any LGBTQ+ partners with the inclination can get married in a mass ceremony.
