Inverness County District RCMP say a 53-year-old Port Hawkesbury man has been arrested and charged after they executed a search warrant.
Police say they executed the warrant at a Port Hawkesbury home at approximately 1:30 Thursday.

Dexamphetamine, marijuana, marijuana plants, hashish and other evidence were seized.
The 53-year-old was arrested, but later released.
He will appear in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on Sept. 25 to face charges of production of marijuana, and one count of possession of marijuana and hashish for the purpose of trafficking.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
