A teenager is facing charges after a BB or pellet hit a Regina home on Thursday night.

Police were called to a home on Read Avenue after there were reports that someone shot at the house, damaging the front window.

There was a 67-year-old resident in the house at the time and officers determined that the projectile was likely a BB or pellet.

Investigation by police led them to identify a potential suspect, then seize two air rifles and a pellet pistol, as well as a bag of BBs.

A 15-year-old suspect was brought to police headquarters and charged.

The teen is facing intentionally discharging a firearm into a place in a reckless manner and mischief under $5,000.

The teen will make his first court appearance on September 12.
