PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Police say a young man from Peterborough, Ont., is facing a charge of sexual assault and forcible confinement in relation to a teenage boy.
They say an investigation began this month after officers received information about a boy allegedly being sexually assaulted by a man while the two were at a Peterborough residence.
Police say the boy was also allegedly prevented from leaving the home.
An 18-year-old man turned himself in Wednesday and police say he was arrested and charged.
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court later Thursday.
