Police re-open Winnipeg intersection after man found in critical condition

A busy intersection in the city’s West End has now been re-opened after a man was found in critical condition early Monday morning.

At 4 a.m., a passerby found a man in the intersection of Furby Street at Ellice Avenue and called police.

The victim, a man in his thirties, was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

He has since been upgraded to stable condition.

There is no indication of what happened to the man and police said they are treating it as suspicious.
