Officials from the Regina fire department are investigating an apartment fire.
It happened at around 2 a.m. CT on Saturday at 1964 Halifax St. Officials said a mattress caught fire in one of the apartment bedrooms.

The occupant of that apartment suite has since found other accommodations.
Other people living in the building are safe to remain in their homes.
