Police said the body of a 28-year-old man reported missing Thursday was found in southwest Edmonton over the weekend.

EPS said the death of Russell Stempien has been deemed “non criminal” in nature.

He was last seen on Monday near his home in the southwest Edmonton neighbourhood of Windermere. His family started getting concerned when he didn’t come home after a 24-hour period.

Police said there were no indications to suggest foul play.
