Some rain today makes way for double digit days ahead.
Saskatoon Forecast
Today
It was another misty start to the day, however visibility wasn’t significantly reduced in the city but elsewhere in places like Lloydminster it did drop to a few hundred metres this morning.
Cloudy skies stuck around with temperatures just above the freezing mark to start before some light rain moved in just before noon as we warmed up to +4 by late morning.
This afternoon the rain will move out and we’re expecting to stay under mostly cloudy skies as the mercury pushes up toward +7 for a daytime high.
Tonight
We should see some clearing this evening, which will allow us to cool down toward the freezing mark before clouds build back in before morning.
Wednesday
Our Wednesday is shaping up to likely start off on a mostly cloudy note before clearing to give us some midday sunshine.
Later in the day we’re expecting to see clouds roll back in with a slight chance of showers as we rise up to a daytime high in double digits.
Thursday-Friday
A weak system will slide in from Alberta on Thursday that will keep us under mostly cloudy skies to end the week with a very slight chance of showers on Friday before we may get a few late day sunny breaks.
It looks like temperatures will likely top out in double digits on Thursday before cooler air slips in behind the system on Friday, keeping our afternoon high in single digit values.
Weekend Outlook
There’s a decent chance we may catch some morning sunshine on Saturday before clouds build in during the day as an upper trough brings in a chance of rain by Saturday night with temperatures pushing back into double digits.
Sunday looks to be slightly cooler under a mix of sun and cloud behind the system, but we may still climb to a double digit daytime high in the afternoon.
