A Calgary company is hoping to make “escape rooms” great again by offering a Donald Trump-themed experience.

Confined Escape, located on 32 Avenue N.E., launched its new “Escape Trumps Tower” room on March 13.

In an email, spokesperson Alyson Turnbull said the reception for the room has been “very positive.”

“People find this room hilarious,” she said. “So far the reviews have been all five stars.”

During the “escape room,” players are confined to a Trump-themed room and must solve a series of puzzles to escape within 60 minutes.

“You see that the security guard is away from his desk, and his poncho and sombrero are hung up beside his post,” Turnbull explained. “A brief recording at the start gives you some storyline … and tells you that you have an inside connection in the building who has left clues to help you ‘take down the Donald.’”

The room costs $25 per player, and is only recommended for those ages 17 and up.

A post to the company’s Instagram account boasts the new theme room is “tremendous.”

Confined Escape opened in August.

According to Turnbull their most popular room so far has been “Alice in 3D,” based on Alice in Wonderland, which Turbull said is the only 3D escape room in all of North America.
