Brant County OPP are appealing to the public for information as officers continue to investigate a homicide on Papple Road in Cainsville, just east of Brantford.
Police were called to Diamond Towing and found an unresponsive male around 2:57 p.m. on Wednesday.
The coroner pronounced 69-year-old Robert Waite of Brant County dead.
Investigators have classified the death as a homicide following a post-mortem examination conducted in Hamilton on Friday.
Det. Insp. Brad Nunn with the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch said detectives with the OPP are continuing to investigate.
