House fire on Wallace Street causes severe damage

A fire caused severe damage to a home on Wallace Street Friday night.

Fire crews were called to the home on the 2200-block of Wallace Street just after 9:30 p.m.

Two people were home at the time the flames broke out but were able to exit safely.

There were no injuries.

No word yet on a cause or an estimate on damages.
