Surrey business owners will be assessing the damage today after a fire broke out at a local strip mall overnight.
Fire crews were called to the corner of King George Boulevard and 108 Avenue around 1 a.m.

A Subway restaurant was heavily damaged in the fire.
A nearby liquor store was also affected.
There are no reports of any injuries at this time but an investigation is underway.
