TORONTO – Some shoppers at Ikea in Toronto were surprised to find a monkey on the loose while at the store Sunday afternoon.
Police confirmed to Global News that animal services came to the local Ikea at Leslie Street and Hwy. 401 to obtain the monkey. It is now in custody.

They don’t know where the monkey came from, and if it belonged to someone.
No injuries were reported.
On Twitter, shoppers posted photos captured of the exotic animal in the store.
