Rogers Place is going to be packed Saturday night as the Edmonton Oil Kings host the annual Teddy Bear Toss in support of 630 CHED Santas Anonymous.

Now in its 10th year, fans bring stuffed animals with them to the game and throw them onto the ice when the first Oil Kings goal is scored.

“As all of our fans are getting ready to celebrate this holiday season, this meaningful game helps us to give to those in need,” Kevin Radomski, Oil Kings director of business operations, said.

“Our team prides itself in being active in the community and we have the greatest fans out there. Their generosity will help us make Christmas brighter for those in need.”

“These bears go to kids that aren’t able to get that Christmas experience that other families are fortunate to have,” he said. “The holidays are a great time for all of us to come together and make sure everyone enjoys the season.”
