Regina police are reminding residents that they should not leave their vehicles unattended after eight vehicles were stolen last week with the keys inside.

According to police, between Nov. 29 and Dec. 6, there were 30 vehicle thefts reported. Eight of those were stolen with keys left in the vehicle.

Police say vehicles should be locked when not in use and should not be left alone with keys in the ignition. Cars should not be unattended or unlocked while they are warming up.
