After a year of Canadian dominance on the international music scene, the Grammy Award nominees for 2017 were announced on Tuesday morning.
Meghan Trainor, who won Best New Artist award at the 2016 Grammys, revealed the nominees for Best New Artist, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Album Of The Year live on CBS This Morning. Shortly afterwards, the nominations for 84 categories were revealed online.

Canadian nominees include Justin Bieber, Toronto musicians Drake and The Weeknd. Other big-name nominees are Beyoncé, Rihanna and Adele.
Beyoncé leads the Grammy nominations with 9; Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West each scored 8.

The Late Late Show host James Corden will host the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, and superstar Beyoncé is expected to perform at the ceremony.
