One man is dead after being struck by a truck in Surrey Saturday evening.
The 69-year-old man was hit by a pickup truck in the 9300 block of 140 Street at around 5 p.m, police said.

The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but later died of his injuries.
Surrey RCMP said the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
