No injuries were reported following a two-alarm fire at a strip mall in Scarborough overnight.
Toronto Fire officials said crews responded to the scene at 510 Danforth Road just east of Birchmount Road around 12:30 a.m.
Firefighters focused their attention in a small room in the basement of one of the units.
Officials said crews had a hard time locating the source of the fire as there was heavy smoke and reduced visibility.
Toronto Fire said it isn’t clear how many people escaped injury.
The fire was knocked down around 2 a.m.
