Two Regina Pats players invited to Team Canada’s selection camp

It could be an extra special holiday season for two Regina Pats after Hockey Canada named them among 32 players invited to Canada’s World Junior selection camp.

Twenty-two players out of the 32 will represent Canada at the 2017 World Junior Hockey Championship from Dec. 26 – Jan. 5 in Toronto and Montreal.

Steel is currently leading the Western Hockey League in points with 41 and Wagner has tallied 19 points for the Pats this season.

Moose Jaw Warriors Brett Howden and Kamloops Blazers’ goalie Connor Ingram who is from Imperial, Sask. have also been invited to the camp.
