74-year-old farmer dies after ATV rollover in western Manitoba

A local farmer out checking on his livestock died after his ATV rolled Sunday.

At approximately 6:45 p.m. Swan River RCMP responded to the rollover near Provincial Road 157 West in the RM of Swan Valley West.

The 74-year-old farmer was alone at the time, he was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.

Alcohol is not considered a factor.
