Kelowna’s Tree of Hope lights up for 19th year

It’s a sure sign the holiday season has arrived as the official Tree of Hope lighting ceremony took place Thursday night.

The 120-foot tree is comprised of 25,000 LED lights and has been a Christmas staple in Kelowna for the past 19 years.

The charity campaign raises money every year for local organizations, with half-a-million dollars given out since 1997.
