Weather forecast update at 4pm:
Expect valley showers and mountain snow with a parade of weather systems in the forecast.
The next weather system moves in Wednesday night and Thursday. Freezing levels will be between 800m and 1100m and snow will fall on mountain passes.
On Friday we will be in between systems with a short break by Friday midday and afternoon. Another low will push inland on Saturday with more rain and snow and cooler conditions.
Thursday’s daytime high range: 3 to 8C
