Police also charged 18-year-old Abdullahi Hassan and 24-year-old Nicole Brand, both of Toronto, with the same 11 charges.

All of the suspects appeared in Toronto courts Wednesday morning and the names of those under 18 cannot be released under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Const. Caroline de Kloet said the 39-year-old female suspect also cannot be identified as it may compromise the identify of the underage suspects.

She added that police had been at the house on a separate call before a search warrant was requested.
