Police were cautioning the public to stay away from a rural area near Fisher River as they tried to find a man with a gun.
In a new release the Manitoba RCMP said officers as well as its emergency response team (ERT) were on scene but for officer safety are not disclosing the exact deployment of resources.

RCMP said they had the suspect in custody shortly after 6 p.m. There are no injuries related to this incident according to RCMP.
