RCMP have charged a 24-year-old man after a stabbing in Ponoka on Sunday.
It happened in downtown Pokoka at around 11:40 p.m.
Witnesses told police one man was stabbed and several people were pepper sprayed.
The victim, a 20-year-old man from Maskwacis, Alta., was rushed to the Ponoka Hospital with a stab wound to his upper arm. He remains in hospital in stable condition.
RCMP have charged 24-year-old Trey Potts from Maskwacis with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.

The town of Ponoka is located about 200 kilometres north of Calgary and about 100 kilometres south of Edmonton.
