Body camera request for parking officers denied
WINNIPEG – City parking officers will not be getting body cameras.
The innovation committed denied the request by the Winnipeg Parking Authority for body cameras Tuesday, saying they “weren’t too keen” to move in that direction.
The WPA had requested $32,501 for a pilot project to evaluate whether body cameras would make sense for its officers.
