A 38-year-old man is dead after he was struck by a vehicle while walking along Highway 36 south of Lac La Biche.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

A 16-year-old man in a truck was traveling northbound when it collided with the pedestrian.
The teen driving was not injured.
The victim’s vehicle was found a short distance away.
Members of the local RCMP detachment, along with a Collision Analyst from Edmonton continue to investigate.
The name of the victim will not be released.
