RCMP said it was stopped because the vehicle did not slow to 60 kilometres per hour when passing an emergency vehicle with its lights activated.

After a roadside investigation, the driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

David Wayne Maxim, 51, was remanded for a second appearance in Yorkton provincial court on Friday.
