A 14-year-old girl was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon, west of Morris, Manitoba.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 23 and PR 336. Morris and Emerson RCMP said when they responded they found a car and a semi had collided.
The 14-year-old was the passenger of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 48-year-old female driver of the car she was in was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Both are from the Regional Municipality of Morris.
The semi driver had minor injuries.
While alcohol is not believed to be a factor, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
