The new owner of the 92 acre site, Restoration Lands, will hold a news conference this afternoon.

The Vernon based company, under principals Michael and Sharon Molder, was formed solely for the redevelopment and repurposing of the Lavington property and building.

The property was purchased from Owens Illinois for an undisclosed price.
The glass plant was closed down in 2008, impacting 300 employees.
