Crews in Langley are investigating a fire at a homeless camp near the Langley Regional Airport.

The blaze was spotted around 11 p.m. in the 21000-block of 56 Avenue, which is a known homeless camp.

There was no one there when crews arrived.

Fire officials say they’ve attended the site before for complaints of campfires.

Homelessness in Langley was also in the spotlight earlier this week when campers at another site near the Nicomekl River were evicted.
