A major electrical upgrade near downtown Kelowna will leave almost 700 homes and businesses without power overnight.
Beginning at 10 this evening, power will be off to customers between Gordon Drive and Richter Street, from Clement Avenue to Leon avenue.

FortisBC is replacing aging electrical components.
The power will be back on in that area at 6 o’clock Thursday morning.
