WINNIPEG — One person is recovering in hospital after getting hit by a van in a backyard in Southdale Wednesday afternoon.
At around 5 p.m. a van drove through what appears to be two fences and struck a person in the backyard of a home on Cormorant Bay.

A pedestrian was transported to hospital where they are in stable condition. The driver of the van, the only occupant, was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid.
