A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck near Grande Prairie Friday night.
RCMP said the crash happened on Highway 40 at the Wapiti Bridge at around 10:20 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. Their identity hasn’t been released.
The driver and passenger of the pickup truck weren’t injured in the crash.
Highway 40 at the Wapiti Bridge was shut down in both directions as police investigated the fatal collision. The highway was reopened to traffic on Saturday morning.
