One man suffered serious injuries in a collision between a semi-trailer and a tractor on Friday.
It happened on Highway 582 and Range road 10, near Disbury, Alta., at around 9:15 a.m.
EMS said the collision caused the tractor to roll, pinning the driver underneath the machinery.
The injured man, believed to be in his 30s, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being airlifted to hospital in Calgary. EMS said the victim’s condition is considered stable and non-life threatening, but he did sustain “multiple, serious injuries to his lower torso, including possible internal injury.”
The town of Disbury is located about 80 kilometres north of Calgary.
