Motorcyclist sent to hospital after fiery crash in Langley

A man is recovering in hospital this morning after a fiery crash in Langley.

Witnesses tell Global News the man ran a yellow light and hit a car making a left turn near Mufford Crescent and 64 Avenue. Both the bike and the rider were thrown several metres.

The bike caught fire but was quickly extinguished by bystanders.

The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital.

The driver of the car was checked over by paramedics and is said to be cooperating with police.
