Toronto police have charged a 36-year-old man with attempted murder after a 37-year-old man was stabbed multiple times inside the Eaton Centre.
Emergency crews were called to the downtown mall around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday after a report of a stabbing.
The victim was rushed to hospital in serious, but non-life-threatening condition.
Meanwhile, police are looking for a second suspect in connection with the investigation but there was a limited description.
Shane Michael Maclean has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, three counts of failure to comply with probation, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon.
He was scheduled to appear in a Toronto court Wednesday morning.
Anyone with information is being asked to call police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
