WINNIPEG — The search is on for a suspect after police said a woman was knocked unconscious and sexually assaulted in broad daylight Friday afternoon.
Police said the victim was waiting at a transit stop near Disraeli Freeway and Sutherland Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Sept. 16th when she was assaulted and “rendered unconscious”.

The victim, in her thirties, awoke sometime later at least a block away, near Rover Avenue and Disraeli Street.
Police said she had been sexually assaulted and robbed.
The suspect is described as fair-skinned, about six feet tall, with short hair and a light brown goatee.
