A female pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after she as hit by a vehicle in Brampton Monday morning.
Peel Regional Police say she was struck around 6 a.m. near the intersection of Chinguacousy Road and Queen Street West.

Police say the female was a “high school-aged victim” and that David Suzuki Secondary School is just north of the intersection.
The area was closed to traffic for the police investigation but reopened around 7:40 a.m.
