Two people have been charged with drug offences after RCMP busted a massive marijuana grow operation in Lorette, Man.
On Sept. 7, around 9:30 p.m. officers executed a search warrant at a home on Ferland Bay.
Officers took two pounds of processed dried marijuana, 123 plants and drug paraphernalia.
“Observation of the property gave police grounds to believe that a large scale clandestine marijuana grow operation was inside the building,” RCMP said in a media release Monday.
Dean Nault, 54, and Fawn Fontaine, 30, who lived at the home on Ferland Bay, were arrested and charged with possession and production of a controlled substance.
