RCMP say they are investigating a robbery with violence that happened Sunday afternoon in Dartmouth.
Just after 1 p.m., police and EHS were called to a home on Montague Road for a report of a robbery. When they arrived, they found a middle-aged man who was allegedly pistol whipped by four black men.
He was taken to hospital, where he remains in non-life threatening condition.
Investigators say the victim and suspects are not known to each other. The only description availible for the suspects is that they were all wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
