A man has been arrested following the armed robbery of a Saskatoon gas station.
The Gas Plus in the 1100-block of Idylwyld Drive was robbed early in the morning on Aug. 20.

An employee working at the time told police a man entered the store, grabbed some items and then approached the counter.
When he was asked to pay for the items, he pulled out a gun.
He then fled with food and cigarettes.
A 31-year-old man has now been charged with the robbery.

He was already in police custody, having been arrested on Thursday on unrelated weapons and drug charges.
Along with the robbery charge, he is facing six firearms offences and a breach of probation charge.
He is scheduled to appear Friday in Saskatoon provincial court.
