The notice was initially put in place after a routine test came back positive for E.coli.
The Interior Health Authority (IHA) said the original test wasn’t necessarily a false positive.
A water system operator checked back-flow prevention devices, increased chlorination, flushed distribution lines and collected re-samples, according to IHA.
After all of that, the authority deemed the water to be safe for consumption without boiling again.
