Moose Jaw police seize $9k worth of Cocaine; Edmonton man charged

Moose Jaw Police have charged a male with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. According to police, a vehicle was pulled over Friday evening as a part of a drug investigation in the 100 block of High Street West.

At around 9 p.m. Moose Jaw Police, with assistance from the K-9 unit, located three ounces of cocaine inside the vehicle. Police also confiscated cash and a stun gun.

The cocaine has a street value of $9,000.00.

The driver was a male from Edmonton. He has been charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

Police say the male will be released with a condition to appear in court on a later date.
