Another storm hit Calgary Monday afternoon

Once again a storm hit the already soaked west side of Calgary, prompting Environment Canada to issue a severe thunderstorm warning for the city of Calgary and areas northwest of the city Monday afternoon.

In their alert from 3:15 p.m., Environment Canada said they are tracking a storm that is currently 10 km east of Cochrane that is moving east at 20 km/h.

The warning was dropped just after 5:15 p.m.

While that thunderstorm prompted the warning for Airdrie, Cochrane, Crossfield and Calgary, another line of thunderstorms prompted warnings for areas for central Alberta.
