One of the suspects in a high-profile sexual assault case at UBC in April has died while in custody.
Twenty-eight-year-old, David Singh Tucker, was found unresponsive by staff early on July 25 at Surrey Pre-Trial Centre.
Barbara McLintock with B.C. Coroners Service says the cause of his death is still unknown. She says the case remains under investigation.

Tucker was facing charges of sexual assault causing bodily harm, forcible confinement, robbery, and break and enter.
His family contacted Global News last month when Tucker was hospitalized after sending them what read like a suicide note.
His alleged accomplice, Yuan Zi Gao, faces one count of break and enter to commit robbery.
