A woman is claiming she was sexually assaulted at a Teppanyaki restaurant in Tennessee on Monday when she was hit by a “urinating” plastic toy figurine used by the chef.

Isabelle and James Lassiter were dining at Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse when the chef used the water-squirting toy as a part of his array of tricks to entertain guests.

When the figurine’s toy pants are pulled down, water shoots out as if it was urinating.

Furious, the Lassiters called police to report the incident.

“It was a sexual-style assault on my wife,” said James. “It shot water out of its penis.”

The Texas couple were even more angered by the fact that it happened in front of their young grandchildren.

The police incident report says the responding officer inspected the toy but didn’t find a penis, “just a hole for the water to shoot out.”

The Lassiters believe that detail is irrelevant to the alleged assault.

“Just because somebody may have cut off that little piece of plastic to say, ‘Okay it’s not there anymore,’ doesn’t change the fact that you’re getting peed on,” said James.

Restaurant manager Johnny Huang said he’s never received complaints about the toy before but that he is sorry the Lassiters were offended.

“The kids like it. They think it’s a water gun. It’s kind of like a water gun, you know?” he said.

But the Lassiters disagree. In a statement to WTVF, they wrote:

“People are missing the point. This was a sexually-oriented toy meant for adults, in front of minor children. We’re not trying to make money off of this. If the toy was in a bar, it’d be a different situation, but this was in a family restaurant with 13 to 14 year olds at the table. If people think it’s so funny, why don’t people go buy that toy and squirt a cop in the face with it and see what happens.”
