Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in an alleged sexual assault.
On May 2016 Surrey RCMP were informed of a sexual assault at a gas station in the 7100 block of King George Boulevard.
Police say the suspect, accompanied by another man, went in the gas station and made inappropriate comments towards the female victim.
The suspect then allegedly touched the victim in a sexual manner when she was near the front counter.
The store clerk then asked both men to leave.
RCMP says they continue to investigate but the man remains unidentified.
Police say video surveillance is now available – allowing them to ask for the public’s help in identifying both men.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his mid 30s, approximately 5’8″, clean-shaven, and with short dark hair.
He was wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts, white shoes and socks and dark sunglasses on his head.
The man who was with the suspect is described as Caucasian, in his late 20s to early 30s, wearing a grey tank top, black shorts, black hat, white shoes, and a goatee.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Surrey RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
